Transfusion sets
The transfusion sets deliver whole blood or blood components (red cells, platelets, plasma and cryoprecipitate) from blood
bags into the patient’s vascular system.

Piercing spike
Sharp piercing spike for ease of use with each type of blood bag. -
Bacterial air vent with closing cap
Keeps internal pressure of the transfusion set balanced with the atmospheric pressure. Built-in bacterial filter protects the blood or blood components from contamination.
Drip tubing
The drop factor is clearly stated on the transfusion set package. Extended drip element ensures even drop formation. -
Filtration of blood and blood components
Blood tubular filter with a pore size of 200 microns reduces particulate matter and micro aggregates in infusions of blood components. The filter is made in compliance with ISO1135. -
Roller clamp
Ergonomic design for fine and comfortable flow rate adjustment. Big screw ensures one hand operation. -
Latex “Y” injection site
Sealed with a non-removable rubber septum. Enables the additional administration of medicaments by piercing the septum with a needle connected to a syringe or secondary tubing set. “Y” injection sites with a latex-free polyisoprene septums are available. -
Rotary Luer-Lock
Connectors with a rotating Luer-Lock thread are especially easy to seal.
Luer-Lock Adapter
A connection to the IV catheter can be made safely with lockable connectors.
Luer-Slip Adapter
An infusion set can be completed with an intravenous needle and a Luer-Slip adapter.
Intravenous needle
An intravenous needle with the standard bevel for universal application.
